What Keeps You From Doing Your Work?
This was made as a special order for an Etsy customer. I had so much fun doing her series. My favorite thing is to work with someone's personality and intentions to create an art piece that speaks their soul and helps to create the kind of life they want to create. She chose great quotes to work with which was inspiring to me as well.

Santa Cruz
My new home is located just inland from Santa Cruz. I haven't been there since the tsunami damaged the harbor there, but here are a few pictures that I took just a month ago.
Thinking of you, Japan.

Shadow Dancing
Greetings from the icy tundra. Winter seems to be dragging on and on for many of us. It might not seem like it, but spring really is just around the corner:
"Winter's cold spring erases
And the calm away by the storm is chasin
Everything good needs replacing"

Sometimes The Way Is Clear
"What lies behind us and what lies before us are tiny matters, compared to what lies within us."
~Ralph Waldo Emerson
Often, we can experience obstacles along the way on our journey. Sometimes the journey doesn't make sense and life can seem confusing. But then, sometimes, the way is clear.
The journey may require much waiting or much work; much care, attention and thoughtfulness. We go through wonderings and wanderings. We may feel lost, but we are not.
And then when all is said and done, and we enter into a new chapter, turn down a new road, we realize our soul knew all along even if it seemed it didn't.

Story : Overcoming Resistance : Persistence
"Courage is telling the story of who you are with your whole heart."Recently, I was contacted by a writer who had several quotes that she wanted me to create some artwork around. I was thrilled and agreed to do them for her. Here is the resulting series:

Everyone has a story to tell. And everyone tells their story in a different way.
How do you tell the story of who you are?
