Clear Blue

Clear blue sky,
Sunshine
intoxicating,
warm on my skin.
Summer is just around the corner.
Walking feels good
to my body
to my heart
to my soul.
I love
being outside
in the fresh morning air,
pink and white blossoms
against a bright blue sky
colors of spring,
standing in the light.

Signs of Spring

"Beauty is not caused. It is."
~Emily Dickinson

There are signs of the coming spring all around now. Pink and white blossoms have begun to pop out and the daffodils are beginning to bloom. Spring is lovely with it's burst of new life after a cold, sleepy winter. The flowers and blossoms ready and willing to show their IS-ness. No fuss, no angst, no strife...just Being. Beautiful.

Shadow Dancing

Greetings from the icy tundra. Winter seems to be dragging on and on for many of us. It might not seem like it, but spring really is just around the corner:

And the calm away by the storm is chasin
Everything good needs replacing"

Inspiration

Spring is here and tulips and daffodils are beginning to peek out and pop up. I love the arrival of Spring!

I don't quite know what it is about Spring, but it is always inspiring to me. Maybe it's all of the color that begins it's vibrant display. Maybe it's all of the new life that begins springing up everywhere. Whatever it is, fills me with joy, awe and appreciation and with the desire to create and make things new and fresh.

Lately, I'm feeling the urge to paint and create some multi media projects. I've spent the winter learning to knit and I'm still working on my socks. I'm on the home stretch now and glad because I can feel my heart getting ready to express something new. I've got to go and get me some new colors of paint and some fresh canvases. I'm also looking forward to planting some flowers and plants and a small vegetable garden in my backyard.

Mmmm. I can almost taste all those luscious fruits and vegetables now.
